2008.04.29 KCAL Channel 9 News Segment

• Written by Site Contributor - Sean

As you probably know, today is the release day of a little game called Grand Theft Auto IV. The release of GTA IV is big news and Los Angeles reporter for KCAL Channel 9 News, Rich DeMuro, reported on GTA IV last night. Well, guess who appears in Mr. DeMuro's report (hint: it's not Adam Sessler). You can watch Mr. DeMuro's report via the following link.

2008.04.24 X-Play's 2008 Summer Games Preview

• Written by Site Contributor - Sean

X-Play's Summer Games Preview premieres Monday, April 28 at 8:00 pm ET on G4, and continues all week. The week kicks off with a one-hour special dedicated to Grand Theft Auto IV and will feature a live hands-on demo, an in-depth two part retrospective on the "GTA" franchise, new looks at the multiplayer, and X-Play's review of the game. On Sunday, April 27, G4 will interrupt regularly scheduled programming to bring viewers the very first look at Grant Theft Auto IV commercial free. This 15-minute special report will air live at the very moment the GTA IV media embargo is lifted and will feature Adam and Morgan's first hands-on impressions of GTA IV.

Throughout the week the show will give viewers an unprecedented look at the most anticipated games of the summer and will present brand new footage from titles including Too Human, Little Big Planet, The Bourne Conspiracy, Ghostbusters: The Videogame, Haze, and Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventure. "Personally, I'm excited for The Force Unleashed, which lets you live out all your Evil Jedi fantasies, and Metal Gear Solid 4, which looks to be a technically impressive epic," said Morgan Webb. "We'll also look at Wii Fit, and see if it's going to revolutionize the way we interact with games."

2008.04.05 Tyra Banks Show Appearance Discussed On GameHounds Podcast

• Written by Site Contributor - Sean

Ms. Webb's appearance on the Tyra Banks Show back in January is talked about in episodes 10 (starting at 18:25) and 11 (starting at 21:05) of the GameHounds podcast. Gamers who saw the segment, whether on tv or the internet, know it was utter crap. In episode 10 of the GameHounds podcast, both Ms. Webb and the Tyra Banks Show were given blame. However in episode 11, the blame was solely put on Ms. Webb. I feel that Ms. Webb made a mistake in not representing gamers like she should have done and that the Tyra Banks Show is predominantly to blame.
