Response: Question 1: There's no news about any new developments but there's "Breakdown" that has the first person slasher element. First person shooter, you can try Halo 2. Question 2: the 2nd Zelda game was questionable compared to the other Zelda games.

Zelda OOT sucked. 3d platforming with rpg elements is still 3d platforming, boo!
