2004.03.30 On Unscrewed...

Well, as some of you might know or might have known -- Morgan Webb went on the TechTV show, "Unscrewed" hosted by Martin Sargent to talk about controversial games and her participation in the Playboy.Com poll for the sexiest woman of TechTV. Of course she won poll -- but she's decided NOT to pose for Playboy.

Yep. I am very proud of Morgan for her answer and she was so nice on the show: very modest and she stuck to her topics of discussion, this is the real Morgan. She made her decission and stood her ground on it despite the jokes made. HELL NO, and she meant it. Like people were expecting otherwise.

Wow, is anyone surprised. From the years of watching her 'mature' on TechTV as a TV Host I think everyoe know she wouldn't. Even though some of us hoped she would.....

Poor Swish... overshadowed by Webb. Someone cut the Swish a break and have her pose!

I saw the ep. of Unscrewed. Though a little disappointed that she aint' gonna pose, I and I think the rest of us in this world wouldn't have minded to see the beautiful Morgan Webb in all her glory....

Of course she wasn't going to pose. I don't think any of the TechTV girls would've in the end.
That Atari game they showed with the cowboy and native american sure looked funny though.
Go, Mo!

I was pleasantly surprised to see Morgan on Unscrewed talking about the Playboy Poll and finally putting the question to rest . She's such a beautiful and classy lady .

I'm glad she said NO to posing this will keep her reputation for professionalism in the tech industry.

I have no interest in seeing Morgan nude. I run from anything that resembles a naked girl. I would much rather savor the veiny flavor of a trucker's meat flume crammed down my throat in a dirty truckstop bathroom. I am extremely biased to eating the pole. Which is why I applaud Morgan's decision to not flash her beav to the world. As a tribute to Morgan, tonight, I will throttle more pole than I have ever throttled before. I'll be thinking of you Winged Vox.

For one thing I was glad to hear Morgan say that she would not be posing. One more thing has anyone else noticed that some idiot has benn hopping from message board to message board calling people he disagrees wiht polesmokers or cocksmokers?

I think Morgan knows why she's so popular. She's intelligent enough to know that her only real marketable quality is her looks, she isn't on tv because of her major in rhetoric. Now as to why she didn't pose, well that will remain a mystery, but if I had to speculate I'd say it's a mixture of poor self-image, hatred of models, unwillingness to embarrass her family, etc.. In any case she decided not to pose , but of course that doesn't preclude the possibility of a Maxim-esqe photoshoot, let's hope for that.

As for her alleged 'professionalism' and 'class,' she's a woman and as such she uses what she has, in this case, her looks, and at this time for whatever reason she has no need to go all the way with it. But make no mistake, if her career and livelihood depended on shedding her clothes she would do it in a minute like so many other women, and her professionalism and class would go out the window.

Now as for TechTV, I should hope they're not ignorant enough to make this big production about "The Women of TechTV Playboy Poll" without having at least one of their women pose in the magazine, to give the men out there the payoff for putting up with all the hype. You simply don't send out your female talent to ESPN and Howard Stern, known bastions of young males and hype a poll with your female employees possibly being in Playboy then not getting at least one of them to be in playboy when all is said and done. That would be absurdity of the highest degree.

I would have to agree with her decision to not pose for Playboy. Or at least nude. As Kalar suggested, a Maxim-type pose, fully-clothed, mearly posing in a snazzy skirt or something like that would be more enjoyable. But nude? I like Morgan too much for that.

Is it just me, or does the 4th photo of Morgan make her look exactly like William Hung (http://www.williamhung.net/)?

> "But make no mistake, if her career and livelihood depended on shedding her clothes she would do it in a minute like so many other women, and her professionalism and class would go out the window. "

Kalar, that whole statement cannot be backed up. Those are false accusations. Just like you said we don't know the reason/reasons that Morgan said no, we also don't know if she would pose if her career was on the line. I don't think her whole life is dependent on her job at TechTV. I can imagine how many other companies would beg to have her on their station. If TechTV was stupid enough to fire her, TechTV would lose a ton of viewers. Plus, she could sue TechTV if she was fired because she refused to pose.

This brings me to another complaint in your last paragraph. You are saying TechTV is obligated to have one of their women pose because hundreds or thousands of males clicked a button? The offer was made to all women. So far, none have accepted. Are you saying one of these women should HAVE to pose beyond their will? These women aren't hookers waiting to be pimped out by TechTV. They are classy women (well, most of them).

I would rather not see Morgan in Playboy or even in a provocative spread. I like Morgan's personality. Of course, I find her extremely attractive, but I don't like spreads. They are too forced. They are artificial, and serve no truth, in which men can fondle themselves to. Did you see the TechTV spread with Morgan? All her smiles look forced. However, I would not complain (as if anyone would care) if she does spreads for magazines. Hey, more money in her pocket without showing too much skin.

I like Morgan in her natural state. One of the biggest turn-ons is that she is REAL, and not fake like most celebrities and/or models. Being a gamer and a techie makes her more down to earth, and attractive. She wears cute skirts, and occasionally shows some button belly. So, I get my fix of skin. I like a girl who sexy, but reserved (i.e. Morgan).

I agree with everything else you said, Kalar.

I've taped the episode of Unscrewed, and one of the games Morgan mentioned, I've got. DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball is the best game I've played. It maybe controversal, but it is a lot of fun.
